Founded in 1977, Dorsey Studios for the Performing Arts
is one of the top acting schools in Atlanta. We offer
professional acting training for stage, film, radio, and
television. With a focus on building your career, our acting
classes are individualized for the artist and available for
both adults and young people.
Our faculty members
are highly credentialed, experienced educators and
successful actors themselves. A carefully planned course of
study is designed for each student including fundamental
training, on camera workshops, scene study, vocal
performance, and more.
The strength of our program
is best measured by the professional success of our
students. With over 1000 collective film, stage, commercial,
and Broadway credits, the students of Dorsey Studios
work. In fact, 95% of the students who study at
Dorsey Studios four quarters or more work professionally in
theatre, musical theatre, film, radio, and television.
